Introverted People: Beautiful As The Sunset

Introverted people: as beautiful as the sunset

Perhaps one of the reasons we appreciate a sunset is the same that makes introverted people genuine : the beauty of knowing how to appreciate calm.

The introverts are often blamed for being unsociable, yet not a cancellation of holidays or confusion; they simply see them as barriers to communicating with others.

An evening in solitude, spent with a good dinner and a television series is not considered by introverts to be badly spent.  On the contrary, it is seen as a need, a moment of relaxation to relax and then return to immerse yourself in the world. This happens to a third of the population.

According to Sophia Dembling, psychologist and author of  The Introvert’s Way: Living a Quiet Life in a Noisy World  (literally  The way dell’introverso: live a quiet life in a noisy world

),  alle persone introverse piace

thoroughly analyze the meaning of life,  the nature of love, or any other topic they are interested in speaking passionately about.

Many times we confuse shyness with introversion, but they are two completely different concepts. Shyness is the fear of social disapproval while introversion is the preference for environments that do not have excessive stimulation .  Shyness is inherently painful; introversion is not.

Introverted people feel alone in the multitude

Although it may seem contradictory, it is common for an introverted person to feel alone in the midst of many people  and prefer to devote their social energy to close friends, colleagues and relatives. How often do we talk just to fill a quiet hole? How many times do we waste our breath to talk nonsense?

Introverted people can have strong social skills and feel good on occasions such as parties and business meetings. After a while, however, they prefer to go home.  They listen more than they talk, think before they speak, and often feel they can express themselves better by writing rather than conversing. They tend to reject conflict. Some may be terrified of a quick chat, but appreciate deep discussions.

They get bored easily in very crowded or stimulating environments. This is due to the fact that introverted people pay much more attention to  detail and are exhausted by too many stimuli .

“I like people who know how to listen to the wind on their skin,

feel the smells of things, capture their soul.

Those who have flesh in contact with the flesh of the world.

Because there is truth there, there is sweetness, there is sensitivity, there is still love ”.

Is the brains of introverts different?

A study by Harvard University identified different brain patterns in people classified as introverts, thus shedding light on why they are like this. Introverted people have a greater amount of gray matter, which is also thicker in certain areas of the prefrontal cortex, related to abstract thinking and decision making.

Another feature of introverts’ brains is that they possess increased activity in the frontal lobes and anterior thalamus. This allows them to  remember events, make plans and  solve problems.

These people are more attentive to their inner world than to the outer one. At the same time, they have greater brain activity in the areas dedicated to learning,  motor control and vigilance which, of course, makes them more cautious.
